Thorfynn’s Restaurant opens its doors at 7 am – providing wholesome and healthy breakfasts, a fine selection of coffee and tea blends and fantastic sea view in a natural setting.

A great way to start your day, we encourage you to visit us for breakfast, meetings or even just a coffee. Should you wish to keep in touch with the digital world, we have ultra fast WI-FI available and news on dstv.

After a hearty farmhouse breakfast on the restaurant deck overlooking the sea, one can wander straight down through the milkwood forest onto that spectacular 8 km stretch of soft sandy unspoiled beach with flamingos and seabirds in the lagoon, great place for kids to swim. Many people come for coffee and stay right through the day watching the whales whilst the kids play or swim.

Visit Thorfynns restaurant at Monkey Valley Resort in Noordhoek where you can sit in tree decks in natural beauty sheltered from the wind no matter how hard the south easter is blowing and watch the sunset over the sea and race horses silhouetted against the lagoon on a beautiful beach.

On the restaurant deck, set in the milkwood trees, sunset cocktails often with live music, and on warm evenings , by the wood fire in the sea view restaurant decorated with cottage style antiques and gleaming brass, in the quaint treetop pub with a tree growing right through it, there are few finer places to be in South Africa.
Thorfynns restaurant elegant yet natural cuisine using the freshest local free range produce, a great selection of vegetarian dishes, excellent wood-baked pizzas for which we are famous, sushi (from November) home-baked whole wheat bread, desserts and cakes, really good coffee, a wine list many people have congratulated us on, and the tastiest of South African traditional dishes.
